Lots of love for all fuzzy, furry, scaly, slimy creatures! Hello! I have been around animals since I was 3 and find joy in taking care of animals of all kinds! I love being around furry creatures and caring for them, it makes me happy to see that they're well cared for in all the specific ways your furry friends want and need! I ran a pet rescue out of my home with my father for 10 years where we accepted many types of dogs and cats, from newborn to elderly and those with special needs. My friends always call me when they have a concern about an animal or if I can care for them. I've raised dogs and cats together for years with GREAT success! I've raised puppies and kitties, sometimes assisting in their births! I will make sure your pet is safe, active, happy, relaxed, and at ease while I'm with them! I make nervous animals calm! Give me any and all information about your beloved family member so I will know how to best care for them! PLEASE READ AND ANSWER!!!!! I would like to know some very important information! This will help me prepare for the best care possible for your loved ones! Please copy/paste and answer all these questions and send them in your message when reaching out. Write N/A for all questions which are not applicable, and add anything you find important! Are they nervous or agitated? If yes, then by who/what? (children, crowds, loud noises, other animals, etc.) What are some areas or groups I should avoid while they're in my care? Energetic? Relaxed? Elderly? Mobility issues? Illnesses? Special needs or equipment used? Do they need medications (oral or injection)? Any allergies to food, medication, grass, etc.? Are they used to a leash/vest/harness or being trained to be on any of these? Do they require a muzzle? Do they prefer to be pushed in a stroller? Do they jump, lick, scratch, chew, or bark/meow often? If yes, is this for a specific reason or do they do this as a warning/asking for something/part of their personality? Do they like to playfully bite or claw? Do they know simple commands (and which commands you use in training) or need help learning some? Are they motivated by treats? If yes, what are their preferred ones? Do they need to drink a specific brand or type of food or water? Do they have special apparel for very warm day (such as shoes), cold days (such as a sweater), or rainy days (such as a slicker)? Do they know how to swim? Have a favorite toy (or types of toys) and/or activity in particular weather? How do they react during car rides, should I have your permission to transport them to a place of your choosing during their care with me? (Note: I have an SUV with seats that fold down for larger dogs, crates, and of course seat belts!) How are they around children? With your permission, would you let strangers pet them? Best place to give them pets, scratches, or pets? Routine when on a walk, during a drop-in, or during an overnight stay? Would you like pictures or videos of your baby? If yes, what activities would you like photographed? What details of my visit with your baby would you like summarized during/after they are taken care of? If requested by the pet parent(s), I can take them to an off-leash dog park as well! If they prefer their own yard, we can play there, too! If you have a preferred path or location to take your pup for a walk/exercise/play let me know, I will take them there! Do you have a pampered pooch or fancy cat who wants to ride around in a little stroller? OK, let me know were and when, let's go for a stroll! For house visits and sitting at your home: I will need at least ONE WEEK'S NOTICE PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE DATE. This is to ensure I am not already booked at another location and so you can have peace of mind quickly! I also care for cats!!! I love kitties, too! From newborn to elderly, including pregnant cats (and pregnant dogs!)!!! For both cats and dogs: let me know their daily schedule. For all pets: Please be as detailed as possible so that I can provide them all their needs! If they're older pets, have illness, special needs, or for more frail pets I can provide a calming presence to make sure they are happy with lots of scratches, pets, playtime, and downtime! Do you have any breed preferences?" and answer all questions in that section so I can get a thorough and detailed description of your particular baby's wants, needs, and personality!
