Growing up in the suburbs of Sacramento, my family liked to push the limits of our residential neighborhood, raising chickens in our backyard as well as professionally breeding and then eventually showing a few different breeds of dogs over the years! I myself raised leopard geckos, a corn snake, bunnies, mice, rats, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, a variety of birds, a bearded dragon, kittens, fish, and even flying squirrels and sugar gliders too!
