Hi there my name is Sally. I am a Saint Louis based petsitter that can't wait to meet your cuddly pets! Can't wait to chat with you soon. I am currently looking for a good pet sitting /and or dog walking job. About 5 yrs ago my beautiful white cat passed away. I only had him a short 5 yrs. he was a stray and had him checked out by my vet @ Kirkwood Animal Hospital. My vet diagnosed my beautiful cat "Snowball" with an enlarged heart and asthma. Needless to say my vet Dr. Schuessler put him on heart meds right away. He also advised me about Snowball's Asthma. I went to the health food store close to where I lived at the time and started him on Cell Power a supplement that was added to his daily water bowl. It naturally produced Oxygen for him so that he would have his Asthma attacks lessen and he was able to breathe easier. My vet Dr. Schuessler did not poo hoo the supplement at all. he said to give it a try of which I did and it seemed to help him. At the time when Snowball was diagnosed with Asthma Dr. Schuessler also suggested an inhaler for Snowball but the appliance for the inhaler was more expensive than the Asthma med to go with it. I could not afford it at the time. That is why I used that natural supplement "Cell Power" because it was a clear liquid and easier to give him. As far as the meds for his enlarged heart goes, those were given in 30 day supply tabs and somewhat big. My vet said to break them up in 1/4 smaller tabs of which I did. When I had to give Snowball his heart meds I did one better I used a piece of wax paper folded it in fourths and took the 1/4 tablet and crushed it up. I then proceeded to warm up his canned Friskies pate' cat food for only 15 seconds to take the chill off the canned food and then distributed his crushed heart meds in his warmed cat food and stirred it in! There was no way that I was going to traumatize SnowBall to take his meds. He never knew the difference because it was for his own good. I also would always give him fresh filtered water with his "Cell Power" supplement in his water. Needless to say he was a "Special Needs Cat" of which he was spoiled but he deserved it. He knew how much I loved him! I miss him with all my heart at the time when he passed he was 18 yrs old! I only wish I could have had him longer he was such a loving cat! He is in heaven with my parents and the rest of all the other dogs I lost be for I got Snowy. You see I was raised with German Shepards growing up. During my youth and teenage yrs we had 3 males and 1 female German Shepard. but not at the same time. I also had a Beagle Shepard mix, a female Maltese Poodle, Blk Labrador, and lastly a Bichon Frise. along with my sweet Snowball. As you can see I have had my share of experiences with animals. I am very articulate, clean white female who is in her early 60's and in no way am I elderly! I am very responsible and loving person
