My name is Megan, a 27 year-old professional gal, working from home on the Upper East Side while running my business - a site dedicated to helping other gals work the way they want, too. My dog is my site mascot (fondly called a "co-wagger" referring to the office pets that are more than co-workers to us gals), the friendliest, fluffiest cockapoo you've ever met. He's 2 years old (15 pounds), loves other dogs and people (he is currently training for his therapy/service license) and named after Chewbacca because they look just alike (Chewie for short). Since I work from home, I can watch your pup during the week at my apt -- which is especially good for dogs with anxiety. Our apartment has a large living room and long hallway for the pups to play! At night, your dog is welcome to sleep wherever he/she likes -- including my bed! I do have dog beds, blankets and rugs so that they have plenty of relaxing options to choose from. A few advantages with hiring me are: I can do daycare during your busy work week or dog sit overnight for you. My rates are much cheaper than local doggie daycare/boarding facilities. I'm also super flexible with scheduling - no minimum/commitment required. And, since I only take in two dogs at a time (in addition to my own dog), your pet will receive my full attention. I'm also available on weekends and can usually be booked at a moment's notice. I've raised my dog since he was a puppy, so we are both puppy friendly and well-trained! Price includes walks and park visits as often as your dog is accustomed. My apartment is located near Carl Schurz park, so long walks and park visits are a part of our daily routine. I'm experienced with administering oral and topical medications to the co-waggers who stay with us (pills, eye drops, ear drops, etc...). I enjoy sending you 2-3 photos/videos per day during your pet's stay, and I am careful to follow your instructions so that your training is reinforced while he or she stays with us (we will follow your guidelines on wee pads vs. going outside at certain times, using certain commands, setting certain furniture limits if you prefer, etc...
