Hey, I'm Makaya! I'm an aviation student living in Calgary for my flight training. Aside from flying, animals are my passion. I would love to help care for your pets through walks, drop-ins, pet-sitting, or anything else they need! I grew up on a petting zoo back home, with 5 dogs, 7 cats, and countless other animals, so I have experience with pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Being around animals my entire life has taught me the important of patience and attentiveness when caring for them. I live a very active lifestyle and love spending time outdoors, so I'm more than happy to take energetic dogs on long walks, runs, or adventures. I also have reliable transportation, giving me flexibility for visits. My schedule varies due to flight training and part-time work, but I still have a good amount of flexibility and will always be upfront about my availability. I work two evening shifts each week (5 PM–midnight) and two daytime shifts (11 AM–7 PM), with flight training scheduled at varying times. Because of this, I’m best suited for owners who are comfortable with some schedule flexibility. You can count on me to treat your pets like family, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.
