Hi there, my name is Kara. My love for working with fur babies has a long history. I grew up in a house teeming with cats, dogs (mid-size and large), hamsters, and at one point a chameleon. I worked part-time for five years at a pet groomer throughout high school and college. More recently, while I was studying to become a mental health counselor, I found that I gained satisfaction not only from assisting people, but also their furry companions. I started work as a dog walker/caretaker shortly afterwards. Drawing from both my professional grooming background and my innate love for animals, I have helped almost a dozen families with pet sitting, house breaking, and socialization. I aim to be firm, fair, and consistent in my duties and provide a warm, nurturing presence.
