HABLAMOS ESPAÑOL!! We will love and care for your dogs as our own, they will become part of our family and be pampered and spoiled while you're away. We will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable leaving your fur-baby with us. We'll send you a photo or video daily to assure you that your dog is enjoying their time with us. Angela and Luis are retired so they will give your furbaby all their love and attention all day, every day. I work full time, so I'm home in the evenings and weekends. Your dog will get at least 4 potty breaks per day, daily walks, supervised play time in our fully fenced back yard, and lots of love and attention! If your dog's stay lasts 6 nights or more, we will give your furbaby a complimentary bath! When booking a stay, please let us know drop off and pick up times. Drop off and pick up times can be between 8:00am and 9:00pm daily. We may make exceptions on a case by case basis, especially for last minute bookings. Our rate is $30/night for dogs over 1 year of age. And $33/night for puppies under 1 year of age because they require a lot more time and attention. About Sadia, Angela & Luis Everyone who knows us knows that we LOVE animals. We make sure that they are well taken care of, happy and comfortable at all times. We volunteer and donate to several different dog/cat rescues in our area (DRSF, Paws2Care Coalition, 100 Abandoned Dogs, AnimalAid, etc.) Why We Love Dog Sitting We've been dog lovers and have had dogs since childhood. We view them as part of the family. They are our loyal companions and they love us unconditionally, so they deserve our love and affection in return. We started pet sitting in 2012 and we absolutely love it!! Meet Our Dogs We have 3 rescue Dachshunds. Snoopy and Preston are paraplegic due to IVDD, but they're pain free and happy. They use a cart to go outside and they scoot inside the house like a seal. Snoopy suddenly became paraplegic at age 6. It was a devastating experience, but with patience, perseverance and some extra TLC, we learned to care for his special needs. We adopted Preston from Dachshund Rescue South Florida in 2012. He had been dumped at the shelter to be euthanized due to his paralysis. Since we already had the experience to care for his needs, we fostered him for DRSF while he found a home, but we fell in love with him and decided to adopt him into our family. They both require a little bit of extra care since they have no bladder and bowel control; they have to be manually expressed at potty breaks. But they are our babies and we love them very much. About Our Yard We have a fully fenced backyard (wood fence), it has mostly grass which we keep short and it's the perfect size for your furbaby to run around and play. Your furbaby will always be supervised when out in the backyard. Our experience administering medication We can administer injected and oral medication (tablets, eye drops, ear drops, ointments, etc.). We have a doggie client with diabetes who requires 2 injections of insulin per day. We are very diligent in administering or giving them any medication needed. Other Services We Offer: Nail Trim - $15 Teeth Brushing - $4 Glands - $4 (a bath must be included) Bath - $15 (if stay is more than 6 nights, it's FREE) Brush Out - $5 per 15 min. session (*Recommended for long haired dogs to prevent matting during their stay.) De-Matting - $5.00 (each 5 min.) Pickup & Drop-off your dog to/from your home - $20 within 10 miles ($1.25 extra per mile over 10 miles) Transportation for you to/from the airport - $1.25 per mile counting from our home to yours and from your home to the airport ($20 minimum). Dog pickup & drop-off included. What we need to know about your dog * We only board small to medium breed dogs about 30 lbs. or less * Is your dog friendly with other dogs and people? * Are there any medical conditions to be aware of? Food allergies? Or behavior quirks(possessive of food/toys, chews/eats things they're not supposed to, etc.? * Is your dog potty trained? Does he/she require a belly band or pee pads? * What type of flea preventative do you use? * Is your dog up to date on vaccines? When your dog stays in Sadia's Home Here's where we'll take our walks We will take your furbaby on walks around our neighborhood. Your dog's sleeping arrangement At night, your furbaby will sleep on their own dog bed or crate in one of our bedrooms with us. Time we'll spend with your dog At least one of us is home 24/7, so your dog will have 24/7 attention. Occasionally, we may leave your dog alone for a couple of hours.
