Pet care services available: - Drop-in visits (in your home): Includes potty breaks; play time; feeding when requested and water refills if necessary; litter box cleaning and brushing upon request, short walks with prior approvals and weather permitting (provider's discretion). For cats only: if you will be out of town, I will do a minimum of one visit per day (and other low-maintenance pets). - Pet Sitting (in your home): Up to 24 hour care that includes lots of attention and love; feeding; fresh water; potty breaks; litter box cleaning; oral medications if needed; brushing if requested; collecting mail and newspapers; watering plants and taking your trash can to the curb and back. I will stay in your home overnight. For dogs: I will come back to your home two times throughout the day for drop-in visits which include potty breaks, play time, feeding and water refills if necessary, and brushing upon request. - Dog Walking: 30-minutes of scheduled time for walking your dog (must be leash trained and without harsh pulling). Best for daytime visits when they are ready to get out for some exercise. **Dates are guaranteed once they are booked, after a successful meet and greet. I believe all animals are unique and have emotional needs as well as physical. I've administered complicated medication to dogs, cats, and fish (freshwater). I've cared for several senior and limited-sight pets and understand their special needs. I have been around and loved animals throughout my entire life. I have had dogs, cats, hamsters, birds and fish as part of my family. Our family currently includes three dogs and four fish. As a fellow pet parent, I know how stressful it is to leave your furry kids in the care of others. It is my goal to provide you and them with the level of care and attention that I would want and expect for my own. My experience comes from being a life long pet owner, as well as providing care for friends, family, neighbors and private clients. I would love to give my best by caring for your dogs, cats, fish and birds. I am always available for them, they'll never want for attention and their needs will always be met! I provide progress reports and updates, including pictures, so you'll be without a worry while your pet is in my care! I love all animals and it would be my pleasure to give you the peace of mind knowing that your pet is safe, happy and well taken care of! Please note: I have loved and cared for dogs of just about every size, age, breed and temperament but I choose to work with and care for those who are non-aggressive. I work part time but since my work comes with me, I can spend all of my time making your pets feel comfortable and secure. My own pets will stay at home with their other pet parent. It is my experience and belief that our furry and feathered friends are more comfortable in their own home environment. Therefore, that is where I choose to care for them. I want the experience to be as comfortable and worry free as possible for everyone. In case you are wondering, I am a non-smoker. I would like to know about your pet's usual behavior, including any “triggers”. This helps me keep them safe, and to know if something is wrong. I would like to know about their daily routines and preferences. This includes feeding times, preferred walking areas, favorite toys, etc. Keeping things familiar and usual helps your pets feel more secure when you are away. When pet sitting, I also need to know the length of time your pet can be alone for, and preferences on where you leave the pet alone in the house.
