Summary: Nice to meet you! My name is Erika. I have been around dogs since kindergarten. My passion for looking after them led me to working as a caretaker for three different dog daycare facilities in Calgary, as well as a grooming assistant. It is in those environments that I gained valuable experience with all kinds of dogs, big, small, friendly, and fierce. My calm, patient, and gentle demeanour allowed me to bond with many dogs, and I enjoyed being surrounded by all the happy fuzzballs. I took the responsibility of taking care of 40 dogs very seriously, and I was proud to be depended on and trusted. I am also no stranger to cats. For 13 years, I owned my two amazing cats, a Tabby and a Norwegian Forest Cat. They passed away in the last couple years due to illness, and I have been looking forward to taking care of cats once more. I currently own two senior Chihuahuas and a Chi/Papillon mix, but I have owned a Greyhound and a lab mix in the past.
