Hi! My name is Elaine. I am a dog lover and would love to take care of your dog(s) in your home while you are away. I have been a dog owner for 15 years and recently lost both of my chocolate labs -- 8 months apart. My oldest, Oscar, died at the lovely old age of 14-1/2, and his pal Otto, died in July of this year of liver failure at the age of 6. Needless to say it has been a sad time for me. I can't have dogs at the place I'm moving into, but I would love to take care of other people's furry friends, so I'm starting a dog-sitting business. I had a boutique doggie-boarding business several years ago where the dogs came to my home with a large yard in Ballard. That type of business is going to have to wait until I get settled in the future into my own place again. Right now I'm renting and can't have pets. That's ok! I'll come to you and your beloved pooches! My fees are as follows: $35 per dog for overnight sitting Over the years, I have enjoyed taking my dogs to various dog parks around the city. My favorite is Luther Burbank on Mercer Island. It is clean and not very crowded and the lake is great fun for the dogs to swim in and fetch balls. I also like to take dogs that like to swim to the beaches in the area, if they are off-leash. There are also some great dog parks and trails in my neighborhood where I walked my dogs for years.
