Hello Waterdown Community! My name is Heather Powell and I am fellow Waterdown Neighbor and an animal lover. I loved all animals and have from a young age! I have been a foster parent with the Mississauga Humane Society and Love Those Senior Rescue for the past 6 years. I have worked with various sizes of dogs, temperament types and ages. I have facilitated over 15 successful adoptions of rescue dogs from various backgrounds. I currently have a rescue dog by the name of Mickie (He is my profile picture). I love taking Mickie for walkies and one day as I was walking along Parkside, I thought..why not offer an after hour dog walking service for people who need their dog walked on weekday evenings, weekends and stat holidays. I also have a love for all small pets, including rodents, fish, reptiles and cats, which is how I can came up with Big and Small Pet Sitting, cause big or small, I watch them all! I am looking forward to meeting and working with other pet lovers in this great community. I will show your pet the love and compassion that I have shown mine! Afterhour Walkies specializes in providing on-call or weekly dog walking services for pet owners in the Waterdown and surrounding community. Our focus in on the “off” hours, which includes: Weekdays 6pm-9pm, Saturdays 10am-7pm, Sundays 10am-8pm and Statutory holidays 10am-7pm (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Family Day, Thanksgiving Monday and Labour Day). Our Doggy House Calls includes: feeding, outdoor time and affection/play time. Perfect for senior dogs who do not need a walk or a puppy who needs to be let out. We are comfortable with all small pets and are here to meet your pet sitting needs. You will receive daily pictures and updates to how your pet is doing!
