Hello! My name is Lexy and I have a vast experience in the pet industry. I have worked in the pet field for around 12 years now. I first worked in a shop that adopted out animals from 2005 to 2007. There, I learned about many different breeds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small mammals as well as how to take care of them (grooming, feeding, cleaning, etc.). I then worked for a company that sold pet products and focused on grooming and health from 2007 to 2017. I have had many different pets since my start, but am down to dogs, a cat and some fish. I have personal experience with reptiles including chameleons, corn snakes, pythons and a plated lizard. I have owned many different fresh water fish species from goldfish to aggressive cichlids. I've also owned a rabbit, guinea pigs, rats and mice. I have a tabby cat and three dogs now, including a German Shepherd, a shepherd mix and a terrier mix. I haven't owned any bird species as of yet, but I have taken care of a friend's cockatoo and African Grey parrot many times. I am looking forward to helping out any furry, finned, feathered or scaled friends as well as their parents when needed!
