Since I can remember, animals have always held a special place in my heart. I have been around dogs since birth and have owned and cared for 8 in my lifetime. I also have cared for 7 cats in these years as well. We have done our best to open our children's understanding of the animal world by delving into owning other species over the years which have included a bearded dragon, gerbils, ferrets, and fish. We have 2 aquatic turtles that have been part of the family for 7 years now and more recently we have acquired 2 bunnies adopted from the local humane society who have blended quite well with the rest of the household! My husband and I decided to own a home rather than rent for not only our children but also our fur babies! We have a large backyard fun for roaming and exploring. Our street has empty wooded lots mixed in with single family homes making it the perfect setting for a nice walk. Your special boy or girl will get all the attention they could want from my family as my children are very respectful of animals and will go along with what is required or not required. It is our goal to one day run a no- shelter as the demand for unwanted animals is such a saddening circumstance. I possess a bachelors degree in social work but much prefer working with animals! I hope to provide the utmost care for your family's most loved fur baby!
