Pet Sitter Job in Huntington Beach, California

Transitions are difficult for everyone, including our furry family. We are new to the area and it will be a while before all the boxes are fully unpacked and everything is in its place but pet care it on the top of the list. Our 5 year old sweet male cocker spaniel (who has become anxious over the past two years after losing his buddy :/ ) and our 16 year old tuxedo cat (that just lost her twin two weeks before we moved) need a caring but lovingly, reinforce the rules, female (sorry not guys allowed in the house as cocker was abused during boarding situation). The perfect sitter is someone who is willing to fill my shoes while I travel or husband has long days at office and continue the routine. Someone willing to take Brewster on errands with her, reinforce his behavior (walking nicely on the leash, etc), if you love to run or walk all the better, just keep him hydrated as he is getting adjusted to this climate. We live in the Sea Cliff on the Greens community which is a nice walk to the beach and very close to dog beach. Security is an absolute must here. I guard my privacy. In full disclosure and being new to the area, it will be sometime before I am relaxed enough to trust anyone with the care of my animals. That being said, please be prepared to provide recent references nearby and please note that a background check will be done.
