Pet Sitter Job in Atlanta, Georgia

Nice to meet you! My name is Stephanie. My daughter and I own 7 pets not counting our fish. I know we have a handful of them! Our dog who is very easy/little/shy/skittish does not live with us all the time (he also spends time with my ex-husband) so don't expect to see him every time. Owning this many pets, though we love them very much, can be a hassle and difficult to handle while my daughter is in school for around 8 hours every weekday and I work for the majority of the day as well, while she is in school. We want to make sure our pets, specifically the attention required ones... like our dog, parrots, and cat, have something to do to stimulate them and give them activity, and someone to hang with which they can then bond with 🤪during the time we are gone and will not get lonely, bored, and miserable (just like leaving kids at home) haha. I am seeking a pet sitter, trainer (can continue to teach tricks to and train parrots and correct behavioral issues with all pets), and walker for our dog when needed who will also be available and able to board our pets during trips (working in Atlanta, Georgia). I hope to hire a hardworking and kind candidate who is good at working with more exotic animals along with the usual dog and cat. We expect you to know the care before-hand for our different pets and be patient have daily availability whenever we need you! This was a long description but keep in mind we will not need you too often and you will not need to do thousands of things with each of the pets. We just care about their wellbeing while we are away. 😊 Not to overwhelm you, as not all of the pets will need everything on certain days and certain times but our home requires dog, cat, red-eared slider (aquatic turtle), parakeet (very small parrot), green cheek conure (small parrot), bearded dragon (lizard), and fish feeding, providing fun playtime with all, except our bearded dragon, turtle, and fish 😂, and will discourage bad behaviors of each pet (if any) in a gentle way. It is an asset if you have personal transportation available. Our best-possible pet sitter would have done the research (best way to learn is through experienced YouTubers) and have had experience with the species of pets we own. READ- this was a very explained description of how things will work if you are interested... but keep in mind we will not need you too often, and when we do, you will not need to do thousands of things with each of the pets. We just care about their wellbeing and their stimulation while we are away. 😊 THE MOST IMPORTANT SERVICE WE NEED IS BOARDING. WHILE MY DAUGHTER AND I ARE AWAY EITHER FOR A FULL 24 HOURS OR SEVERAL DAYS SUCH AS TRIPS THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR US TO HAVE SOMEONE AVAILABLE TO HELP AND CARE FOR OUR PETS!
