As a busy graduate student I am seeking occasional work. I absolutely love animals and have a large amount of past and current experience with various types of domestic animals. The following are a list of experiences in which I worked directly with animals: - Personal experience with my own pets over my life: small dogs, large dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, hermit crab, beta fish, bearded dragon - Completed a five month mentorship as a veterinary assistant. Responsibilities included assisting with general check-ups, minor surgeries, in-patient animal care - Volunteered for three years at an animal shelter in which I gained experience by walking and caring for kittens and cats as well as puppies and dogs (both small and large) -
