About Me: My name is Margaret, I'm an Animal Science major at Murray State University back in Westfield for the summer. I'm really trying to look for ways to be involved with animals while I'm here as my work is unrelated to animals sadly despite my efforts. With regards to experience, I have 9 years of experience with caring for and riding other people's horses, all my 21 years of life experience with German Shepherd dogs, and have had or helped care for cats since as long as I can remember. At school I'm learning animal husbandry (specializing in horses but I am always learning more and being trained with dogs, cats, and cattle too). If you have one of these types of animals, I likely know how to care for it. If I don't, I have the confidence and care to ask you how you would like your pet cared for. I also have years of experience helping to care for my Grandma and Mom's gardens and have experience feeding fish. Description of Skills: I have years of experience with animals with all types of temperaments, I have experience with maintaining pet health, a little experience administering medication, and cleaning litter boxes. I have reliable transportation and I have always taken the work/volunteering I do very seriously, trying to do tasks well and help others as I can.
