Pet Sitter in Hamptonville, North Carolina

Hi, my name is Jamie and I am 27 years old. I am from Yadkin county but I grew up in Iredell county. I have owned quite a few different animals in my life and I intend to continue that streak! I have owned dogs (boxers, pits, labs, beagles and a collie boxer mix.) I can't say I have ever come across a dog who didn't like me except a Catahoula. They are normally tied to one master and one master only and VERY protective of their owner. He took a liking to me eventually, but I had to let him come to me and learn how to respect him and his breed. I have owned turtles, guinea pigs and also cats. I live on a farm and occasionally help my sister in law with her horse and Alpacas. Alpacas are definitely one animal that takes time to get to know, but once you do, they are quite interesting! I have helped with my sisters Irish Setter, taken care of my sister in laws pets as I mentioned previously, I have helped with my mother in laws cats and helped neighbors in the past. I have done everything from feeding, to walking, brushing, playing to giving medicine and vitamins. I have watched pets overnight and been by just to let them out for a bit. I love to study about different kinds of animals and always willing to up my knowledge of the animal kingdom. Helping people with their animals is not a chore or job to me, it's a passion. Animals have their own little personalities and ways of life just as we as humans do and it is so cool to observe and interact with them <3! I believe we are all here for a reason and that incudes every species.
