Hello! My name is Allison. I am currently a freshman at the University of Maine where I study Wildlife Ecology. My career goal is to work in Species Protection on a wildlife refuge in Tanzania, where I will be part of plans that bring endangered species back from the brink of extinction. My love for animals started before I could walk. Growing up in Louisiana, I could be found picking up or playing with anything that moved, whether it was a frog, snake, or our beloved dog. During high school, I spent three years as a kitten foster. I cared for over 30 mother cats and kittens and orphaned kittens, all of which I helped into a forever home. I currently have a Labrador retriever, two cats, and a leopard gecko; don't tell mom, but I miss them most while at college! I know being away from your pet can be stressful for both of you, let me take the stress away! I can not take your pets to my own home, so a house key would be needed so that I can check in on your best friend several times throughout the day and night.
