Overview: Nice to meet you! My name is Jillian. I'm interviewing for dog walking and pet-sitting positions surrounding Augusta, ME. I aim to be a careful employee. I treat all of my clients as the individuals that they are while referring back to their particular species and breeds for any additional temperament, behavior, and care tips. In addition to my dog-walking, pet-sitting, and overnight care services, I will care for sick animals and administer medication. I am passionate about animals, and I love spending time around them. I have owned-and currently own- many of my own animals (hamsters, rabbits, and dogs) throughout my life. I have spent 3 years (2014-20...) volunteering for a companion animal shelter in Ann Arbor, MI-The Humane Society of Huron Valley- and am a consistent participant in animal welfare activism. I volunteered at Peace Ridge Sanctuary in Brooks, ME (April 2018-April 2020). At the sanctuary, I gained a bit of experience and insight working with farmed animals. I am always eager to learn more about my clients and their needs as well as ways that I can improve myself as an animal care provider.
