Responsible animal caregiver with 30 years experience is looking for animal caretaker position. I have experience with cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, horses, and goats. Can provide medical care including IM injections, oral medications, bandage change, taking temperatures etc. I’ve rescued over 50 animals, assisted in the birth of horses, dogs and goats. My main area of expertise is with horses including rehabbing them from colic surgery, choke, bone fractures, bowed tendons, eye injury (scratch/ulcerative cornea, rehab after stepping on 4” roofing nail, gastric ulcers, lacerations, Lyme disease, IM injections, and IV fluids. I’m also experienced with insulin injections/blood sugar testing in cats, oral meds in all animals (not always as easy as one would think). I know more than anyone how much our pets mean to us and I treat every animal as if it were my own. I’ve dealt with almost all dog breeds and love them all. I’m available for daily visits or if requested, overnight stays if your fur baby doesn’t like to be left alone. As a pet owner, I know too well how important it is to make sure you leave your animals in caring and safe hands. It can literally make or break your vacation. I love updating owners with updates and photos...and yes, I have ‘FaceTimed” with an owner and their pet before and I think it’s ado that an owner loves their animal that much!
