Lots of experience after having a giant schnauzer for 9 yrs. Sadly our family recently lost him & we are so thankful to have had him in our lives. We kept him active with walks in the neighborhood. He has even done an agility class to keep him young. He was in process of completing his internship for the pet therapy certification. This certification has taught me that its not rude to let others know he may not say hi to another dog on a leash. It prevents them from playing the alpha dog role with one another, depending on two breed types. With lots of pats & rubs behind the ears was unlimited.
