I've always been an animal person. I believe that spending time with animals is beneficial in many ways, and my future goal is to attend classes for animal-assited therapy. Most species do not phase me, large or small. I currently work at a small dairy farm. I am responsible for moving and milking around 230 cows, cleaning drinkers, and occasionally feeding 50 or so calves ranging from newborns to 6 month olds. In addition to my workplace, I own three horses, which I care for everyday. I have previously taken care of alpacas, goats, pigs, and fowl (as well as the occasional fish). I am, of course, also experienced with both dogs and cats, having owned and cared for multiple in the past. I am not afraid to do whatever is necessary for top-notch animal care. The happier an animal is, the happier I am as well. I take great pleasure in providing for animals, I always have, and I always will.
