Hi all, I'm Jake. Any pronouns. I really enjoy spending time with animals. Just like people, I think they're all adorable and worthy of love. I grew up on a farm, and have raised a number of kittens over the years, and I've taken care of cats and dogs in lots of different contexts. I really enjoy caring for creatures, and find it very fulfilling. I feel like empathy, patience, and consideration are my strong suits, and these all lend themselves to me being a good caregiver. I’ve fed, cleaned up after, played with, and formed bonds with: pets of friends and relatives, animals from abusive environments, strays that don’t fully trust people, and even have experience with cows and calves, if that counts for anything. I’m reasonably confident in my abilities to read animals and interpret their intent, and will always be sure to get to know your pets and make sure they’re comfortable with me and trust me to watch them.
