Howdy Ya'll! I have been a full time pet sitter for the past 4 years in Katy, Tx. My little family recently relocated to Vancouver, WA. Im in the beginning process of starting up my own pet sitting company so if you book me, I will be in it for the long run. I chose to commit my time and energy to animals as they have always tented to gravitate towards me. We learn so many things from humans, but we also learn countless things from our pets. From enjoying the simple pleasures of a walk in the park, to learn faithfulness, loyalty and being quick to forgive. Im Lacy, an animal lover who is extremely responsible, dependable, respectful, easy-going and flexible. My skills and strongpoints include attentiveness, precision in schedule, extreme organizational skills, cleanliness and playfulness. Lets also not forget loyalty and caring. Not only am I loyal to your pets, but i am to you as well. I will treat your pets and home as if it were my own. EXPERIENCE All my life I have lived with dogs and loved every single moment of it. For the past 4 years I worked as a full time pet sitter in Texas. I built many strong relationships with clients and their pets that some became like family to me. I have also learned a lot about each pet's personality and temperaments. I can adjust myself to just about any disposition. Shy pets tend to quickly warm up to me as I always make sure not to make them feel uncomfortable. Not only have I taken care of dogs but I have had many experiences with species of pets as well. Cats, to birds, to rodents, to farm animals and reptiles. I do not think I have met an animal that didn't love me. I am familiar with bird body language as I have a 1 year old African Grey parrot and years experience with other types of birds. I know just how hard it can be to find someone good with your bird! I have plenty of references upon request. I am also certified in pet first aid & CPR. I have years experience with insulin injections and pill administration. WHAT TO EXPECT I visit your pets in your home and adhere to a schedule you and I feel will work well for your pets. Depending on what you request, I will stay with your pet for 15/30 mins or a hour each visit. Each session with your pet is customized to fit their needs and can include a walk, play time, snuggling, brushing, belly rubs, feeding, medicating, refreshing water, and cleaning up after your pet. I can book up to 3 visits a day per client (usually Am, Afternoon & Evening). I also provide overnight care (7:30pm - 7am) except on holidays. Complimentary services include bringing in the mail and packages, rotating house lights, watering house plants, and taking care of trash on pick up day. I am flexible and understanding about last minute request and will try my best to accommodate you. HOW WILL YOU KNOW? You won't have to worry about how your pet is doing while you are away because I will update you via text after each visit. I will report all of the fun and noteworthy events that transpired during our time together. Often times I will include a cute picture (unless requested otherwise). I will also notify you of any concern I might have about your pets health. Your pets safety and your peace of mind is very important to me. I recognize how important the connection is between you and your pet, and I do my very best to alleviate any anxiety that you may have while you are away!
