Pet Sitter in Bethel, Connecticut

I'm an
Individual
Being avid pet rescuers and a co-founder of a non-profit organization to educate people of the dangers of BSL (Breed Specific Legislation). Through this, I learned a great deal about animals and realized that with my Psych degree I could eventually pursue my Masters in Animal Behavior. A small Pet Sitting/Walking business was started and currently we have several permanent clients as well as one-time clients I have worked with over the past few years. An addition of an online store the 5 year goal is to work toward a brick and mortar shop, kennels for pet room and board, as well as help statewide animal shelters rescue animals in need of a help finding their Furever home. Now how did we come to be The Organic Animal.... Right before I left the workforce we adopted an Olde English Bulldogge who we named Akasha. Akasha very early on developed a cherry eye and we had to have that operated on at the same time she was spay. Soon she started showing issues with recurrent urinary tract infections, kidney and bladder infections, yeast, etc. It was determined she has an inverted labia that will have to be surgically corrected. In the meantime, we started treating her with organic medicines, homemade yogurt and cranberry extract tablets mixed with marshmallow, Echinacea and grape leaf extract. She even has a special organic treat we give her with cranberry and other ingredients to help strengthen her bladder wall and function. We found the best food; grain free, gluten free, no fillers, the same for her treats. I watched other pet parents buying foods that wouldn't be fit to feed a rodent. Not intentionally harming their Furbabies they just did not know of the toxic fillers and little base nutrition for their animals. Like our own human issue of foods due to GMOs, fillers, byproducts, processed; the question has to be raised why are we not doing the same for our Furbabies? As The Organic Animal has developed I have worked hard to find the best of the best in Organic foods, treats, accessories and general pet care products. Please feel free to browse our products and make a purchase. Check back often for sales and discounts. We also will be posting coupons on a regular basis on our Facebook page at www.....com. Stop by, like us, keep up with our new products as they come in. We will also be announcing on Facebook items going out of stock or those that are already out of stock so that you can keep your supplies up. We look forward to serving your pet care needs.
