Hi, I was a nanny for over 20 years and I loved every minute of it, but I could never ignore my strong feelings for animals also. Even though working ten hour days my family always kept a menagerie of animals. At least always two dogs (usually more!), numerous cats of our own and strays, lizards, turtles, fish, mice and birds. Hope I haven't forgotten anyone! While I was a nanny I always looked after the family pet/pets whenever the family went on vacation, and I can give you my family contacts if you would like to hear from them. Constance is an amazingly conscientious and reliable person - she was our child's nanny for almost five years until we moved back to San Francisco. She also took care of our dog daily (including walks, feeding, etc.) There is no one that is more reliable - she only had one or two sick days in our entire five years together!
