Pet Sitter in Aurora, Colorado

Hi! My name is Autumn and I love animals and taking care of them! I have worked for a few different doggie daycare/boarding facilities in the past for a total of 3-4 years where I learned a great deal about dog behavior and husbandry as well as cat husbandry. I recently worked at a veterinary emergency hospital as a veterinary assistant for about a year. I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge about the medical field but after a year I just did not think it was for me. Now I work as a receptionist at a doggie daycare/boarding facility. I am comfortable taking care of dogs, cats, horses, farm animals, ferrets, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, and so on. The only animals I am wary of are snakes but am willing to talk about care for them as well. I am also comfortable giving your pets their medication if needed. Education: When I started school I went for a Zoo Keeping Technology associate's degree and soon switched to a Bachelor's degree in Biology. After figuring out that I did not want to be a zoo keeper nor want a degree in biology, I took time off from school. I have interned at the Pueblo Zoo and the Denver Zoo working with the keepers and the animals they care for. I hope to go back to school once my fiance gets done with his schooling. We have two dogs, a jack russell and a terrier mix and they are our world! We also have a bearded dragon who is a new addition and very cool! My fiance and I live in Aurora and are hoping to buy our first house in the near future. I am hoping to make some extra money pet sitting to save for that house and for our wedding.
