Rainbow Pets Services is open Monday through Friday 7:30am to 7:30pm, Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm, and 9:00am to 3:00pm Sunday I am a stay at home wife with two lovely dogs and a cat. I've grown up surrounded by dogs and many other animals. I love helping others and working with animals, and when you take your dogs home from my care, you will know they are going home, having exerted all their energy in a healthy and enjoyable manner. With a yard they will have frequent playtime in and out of the house. Being on base, you will know they will be under protection from any and all harms way. Not to mention their are daily walks to and from gated trails where they also go to run and enjoy a natural scenery for 2 to 3 hrs. With nearby dog parks, they will be taken out to interact with other friendly dogs of different kinds, and the ability to enjoy themselves to the full extent. There is a water fountain constantly refilled for 24/7 cool filtered water for the dogs to keep them hydrated and refreshed and feeding twice a day. Feeding is especially important when constantly exerting energy. We, at Rainbow Pets Services strives on a daily basis to provide you and your pet with the best care available. Due to our increasing number of clients, we wanted to take this opportunity to reemphasize important policies with all of our customers. Recognizing and following these policies will ensure a safe and welcoming environment for you and your pet. When dropping off and picking up your pet, please adhere to the following: • All dogs need to be leashed when entering the building. We ask that you do not use retractable leashes because sometimes they don’t retract. Although your dog may not normally require a leash, having them leashed at all times limits their exposure to unfamiliar dogs, thus reducing opportunities for unwanted contact and altercations. • All dogs need to wear a snap collar when they are here for daycare or boarding. It is hard for our staff to handle your dog with no collar. For safety purposes, we request that dogs do not wear training collars, choke collars, martingale collars, or shock collars to Rainbow Pets Services. Additionally, identification tags need to be attached to collars at all times. This is not only to ensure the safety of your dog, but also to assist staff in accurately identifying your pet. (It is difficult to identify all black Labs with red collars, for example.) • Reservations need to be made for daycare and boarding prior to your dog’s visit. At Rainbow Pets Services, we team each dog based on personality and play style. We team calm dogs with calm dogs, energetic dogs with energetic dogs, etc., to ensure that experiences at Rainbow Pets Services are fun and safe. • Rainbow Pets Services is open Monday through Friday 7:30am to 7:30pm, Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm, and 9:00am to 3:00pm Sunday. If you are unable to pick up your dog during these hours, please notify us in advance so that we may accommodate you if possible. • You can check-in your pet any time during our normal business hours. We recommend that you allow yourself at least 10 minutes to fill out your pet’s “New Client” form and check-in your pet. To help expedite your pet’s check-in, you can fill out the form in advancve and bring it with you at the time of drop off. • A Boarding Day goes by a 24hr period. Check out time for the last day is no later than the time your dog was brought in. Your pet is welcome to stay longer, but we will charge and additional day of boarding. (exp. Dog was checked in at 7:51am, check out time is 7:51am) • Please be sure to bring your pet’s kennel. For your and our pet’s protection, Rainbow Pet Services reserves the right to refuse boarding to any aggressive pets or those that may be ill or infected with contagious diseases. To ensure the safety of all pets, we require that all pets are on the following vaccinations. Dogs • Rabies • DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza • Bordetella (We recommend Bordetella vaccination be given 2 weeks prior to boarding) Cats • Rabies • Feline Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, and Calici All pets are required to have proof of vaccinations either prior to your boarding reservation or at check-in. We recommend avoiding any sudden diet changes while boarding your pet to prevent digestive upset. Please bring enough food for your pet’s entire stay, plus a few extra days if needed. In the case you forget, we will be feeding your pet Science Diet Adult Maintenance. You may bring toys, digestible treats, with the understanding they may be soiled, damaged or lost by your pet. Please do not bring bones, rawhides or toys small enough to swallow. Please be sure to put your pet’s name on their items prior to bringing, with a sharpie marker for identification.
