Pet Sitter in Toronto, Ontario

I am 32 years old a I started working with animals about 10 years ago at a pet shop. I moved from the pet store to vet clinics where I worked for a couple years there. I worked at the Toronto Humane Society as an animal care attendant. After about 6 months of working there I started fostering dogs that were slated to be euthanized. I called a couple training companies looking for a trainer that could come to my house and do private lessons. I found a trainer and every sunday she would come for two hors and we would work on his issues. After about 7 months, and $450 dollars later, the trainer and i decided that he was ready to find a home. It took a couple weeks and eventually Sam found his perfect home. After that all the fosteres I took in the trainer worked with me for free. We took in about 5 more, each successfully finding a home. After the humane society I started working at a Doggie Caycare and a daycare attendant. I ended up working my way up to the manager, the first and second level obedience trainer and started training in behaviour modification. Behaviour mod was dealing with dogs that had aggression issues, whether it be dog on dog aggression, people aggression, possession aggression, dominance aggression etc. I worked there for about two years until decided that I wanted to start my own dog business. My business dealt with dog walking, boarding, obedience training, behavioural work and also pet photography. I also foster dogs for Toronto Animal Service, Happy Tails and Beaches animal Hospital normally with dogs that need some sort of training. I have also had clients give me there dogs because they couldn’t deal with their aggression issues. I also do have dogs of my own as well.
