Pet Sitter Job in Churchton, Maryland

Hello, I am looking for a two week companion, to keep my cat, Sparky, while I am away from March 8-23. He is a long haired male cat, who is 8 years old, neutered, declawed, curious, laid back and very sociable (as long as there is no other feline or dog competition, vying for his attention/affection). Sadly, he won't bond with dogs and other cats. I am looking for someone, that loves cats, and not too far from Shady Side, Md. and would love his company for the two weeks I am out of town. Many say Sparky is a big cat. He weighs about 17 pounds. I have had him since he was a palm-sized hair ball. Never saw him transform from a miniature kitten into a big cat. He is an indoor cat and because he is declawed, he is never let outside.. In exchange for keeping his company, I can pay $150.00 gratuity/appreciation, for your time to keep him. I realize it is not much but I am a retired senior citizen on a fixed income, and cannot afford pet boarding rates for that period of time.. If you love pets and are interested in keeping him during that time,. I can pay half up front, and 2nd half when I return. (I will provide food, feeding containers, litter box and toys.)
