Pet Sitter in Guelph, Ontario

My name is Kelly and I am a third year student at the University of Guelph studying animal behavior! I am extremely passionate about animals (especially dogs) and have years of different experience under my belt. I would love to be able to spend my summer working with more animals. I am very self motivated and enthusiastic person and I'd love to get the chance to work with you/your pet! I have many years of experience with pets. I have worked at 3 dog kennels and with all breeds. At the kennels I was responsible for supervision, basic training, feeding, grooming, walking, hiking, facility cleaning and overnight care. During holiday shifts my coworkers and I were responsible for over 100 dogs at a time. I have experience with puppies, non social dogs and senior dogs. I also foster rescue dogs while away at school and have long term fostered a puppy and a senior dog with global fear issues that never lived in a house before. I have experience house training dogs. I also have a senior cat and a kitten at home. I have fostered 3 cats as well and the most recent kennel I worked at also boarded cats long term. I have also owned 3 budgies and multiple hamsters while growing up. I have worked at the Vancouver Aquarium so I have basic handling of some aquatic animals. And I actually volunteered with a seal pup rescue program so I have handling experience with seals!
