My husband and I have 2 dogs, a miniature Australian Shepherd and a Redbone Coonhound mix. The Redbone (Carter) is a rescue dog about 4 1/2 years old now. Very well behaved and just loves to be part of the family. Our mini Aussie (Dundee) is 1 1/2 years and full of energy. Both dogs love walks but it can be challenging to walk them together at times. Carter gets very excited and doesn't realize how strong he is. Dundee is just hyper and loves to run. We have been using gentle leader collars to take them for walks which has been helping and making it much more manageable.
