I OFFER MUCH MORE THAN JUST A DROP-IN OR 30 MINUTE WALK! If you are just looking for someone to hang out and keep your pet company, I WILL STAY WITH THEM ANYWHERE FROM 15 MINUTES TO SEVERAL HOURS, I have met many animals who hate being alone and need a longer visit than 15 minutes! I also offer dog walks in longer time frames as well! I OFFER WALKS FOR ANYWHERE FROM 30 MINUTES TO SEVERAL HOURS AS WELL. For those high energy dogs, a slow 30 minute walk around the neighborhood just doesn't cut it. I can walk them around your neighborhood for longer periods of time, or I OFFER ADVENTURE-HIKES TO LOCAL PARKS AND TRAILS THAT CAN LAST UP TO 4 HOURS OR 7 MILES. I have a long history of animal experience (pet sitting, dog walking, boarding, veterinary medicine, etc) for all breeds and personalities, as well as species, both professional and non-professional. In addition to dogs, I AM ALSO VERY FAMILIAR WITH CATS, RABBITS, REPTILES, FERRETS, RATS, HEDGEHOGS, AND MANY MORE!! If you have a pet that I did not list, feel free to ask me if I have any experience with them! I am a vet-tech experienced with medicating a variety of animals and caring for special-needs pets. Before I worked my way to become a tech I started in daycare and kennel-work. Along with my experience, I LOVE ANIMALS!! I even have my own little zoo at home consisting of 2 dogs, a special-needs cat (he might not know it but he is missing a leg), a bearded dragon, 2 ball pythons (one is special needs, being born with a severe spinal deformity), a red tail boa constrictor, a burmese python, and a fish! Anything you and your pet want during my visits I will do with the utmost enthusiasm! What some people think of as the tedious aspect of pets, I get excited about and will look forward to from the moment we meet!! You can be sure I will take fantastic care of your best-friends, and we will all have fun!!! I will have just as much fun with your pets as they will have with me! I have a fantastic intuition for pets and what they like, so it won't take long for me to figure out exactly what they want to do be it fetch, running, calm walks, tug, or a long back scratch and belly rub for those who might be less active! I can assure you whatever you and your pet decide on for their activities, I will exceed your expectations , no slacking! For walks I offer the option of either a familiar walk around your neighborhood or an adventure on a trail such as around Umstead Park!! *the adventure-hike option is a small extra fee depending on amount of time and/or miles requested and distance from your home if specific area is desired and although for the majority of pets there will be no issues, it is not an option for every pet for instance pets with medical conditions that make hiking dangerous, or if I determine it is not in your pets best interest. I have no problems discussing this option with anyone and we can decide together what is best!) I can also care for a variety of other species for you! Whether they need to be fed, interacted with, or even medicated I am your girl! My veterinary experience, hobbies, and professional relationships has given me excellent knowledge of many species ranging from livestock such as pigs and sheep, small mammals like ferrets and rabbits, reptiles ranging from geckos to bearded dragons to burmese pythons, rodents, and much more!
