Hi, there! I’m Miriam and I’m a 28-year-old full-time pet sitter from the Greater Boston area. I’ve had the privilege and wonderful opportunity of providing pet care for my clients for the past 7 years, which I’m so grateful for! I currently maintain a 5 star rating on Rover and 4.9 star rating on Wag! About Me: I grew up with various pets including a rabbit, a beloved dog and a cat; I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I’ve worked in various dog daycares and dog walking companies in the greater Boston area over the past several years, and am currently working on building my own independent pet sitting business! I try to be a clear communicator as I know how important that is for my clients! I am not the most outgoing person in real life and am quite introverted, which may put off dog owners, but I am confident about the work I put in. (: I like to use positive reinforcement training for dogs when working on behavioral or socialization issues that my clients ask me to help correct. I believe that it’s only fair we always treat our wonderful furry companions in an ethical and humane way because they love us unconditionally. I’m happy to provide anything you’d like to try out for your dog including different types of leashes, harnesses and toys to help curb negative behaviors. I bring my dog walking bag with me on walks, which has a pouch for training treats, collapsible bowl, water bottle, training clicker, poop bag dispenser and squeaky toy! I take my work seriously and try my hardest to go above and beyond for my clients! In my free time, I like watching documentaries, reading, and learning about various physical/psychological needs of pets! My Availability: I’m currently offering weekday walks after 3 PM and am fully booked before then! I’d appreciate and prefer advance notice for any requests! Thank you! 😊 Other Services: I’m always respectful of people’s homes while supervising their pets! When I’m pet sitting, I provide my own food and beverages, linens, and entertainment. I also don’t smoke or drink while I am on the job! I like to tidy up routinely which includes taking out the garbage and recycling when necessary, washing the dishes, watering plants, bringing in mail and packages. I’m always open to any other requests! Other Important Notes: 1) I do not discriminate against race, color, age, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation. I am happy to work for any client! 2) My rates are negotiable for those who have a low-income or are struggling to afford pet care for their beloved pet(s). 3) I am fully vaccinated and can provide my vaccination record. 4) I have a car and like to drive to my client’s homes!
