I am 18 years old and love dogs. I have had dogs in my house since I was two years old. My mom and I used to volunteer at a local dog shelter in Chicago. My family has two dogs. Both were rescued from local dog shelters. I also have saved one dog. I was driving one day down an empty country road and I saw a small dog in the middle of the road. He had not collar and was very skinny. I picked him up and took him to the nearest dog shelter. I was going to adopt him but one of my dogs did not get along with him. He found a safe home a few weeks later. I have experience pet sitting. I use to pet sit a neighbor dog once or twice a year. I prefer dogs over cats since I am allergic to cats.
