If you have proven experience providing loving care for pets or are interested in getting started in the industry, contracting with The Distinguished Pet Sitter maybe the opportunity you are looking for. As a pet sitter, you can choose your assignments, the types of pets you will care for, the clients you will work with and work around your schedule. But don't take this opportunity lightly; caring for one's pets and home is a serious responsibility. We are in need of a part-time to full-time pet sitter and dog walker to perform a variety of services during days, evenings, and/ or overnight engagements. Services will be performed in the client's home. The commission is 50% of the service rate. The ideal independent contractor candidate: - Is a mature adult over 21 years old - Is experienced in pet care or has life experience as a pet parent - Owns a mobile phone and uses it for primary communications - Has basic computer skills and checks email frequently - Is responsible and has the ability to respond appropriately in difficult situations - Has a minimum of 2 personal references and 2 professional references - Owns an insured and reliable automobile - LOVES cats and dogs - Can commit to working with The DPS for a minimum of six months consistently - Is conscience and respectful in the client's home - Can pass a comprehensive criminal background check - Possesses and uses excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must be willing to travel throughout Metro Atlanta If you live in the Atlanta area and are interested in joining our distinguished team of pet sitters, please complete our online application by visiting us at www. thedistinguishedpetsitter .com.
