Pet Sitter Job in New Orleans, Louisiana

Hi there my name is Tra-Lynn or TL. I am interested in finding pet care for my 2 cats. 1 is a purebred Winter RagaBob with separation anxiety. Winter normally travels with me EVERYWHERE, and I felt it would be healthier for her, if I got her a brother so we adopted Onyx. He is an abandoned by his family 2yr old male Tuxedo in May 2021. Onyx has not been able to adjust back to indoor only life unfortunately, so we moved to a at Rescue Friendly neighborhood where he & his friends go outside in the mornings and they all go home and stay indoors at night. I have a kitty door where Onyx comes inside periodically throughout the day, sometimes he stays in all day with Us orther times hes so busy playing he losses track of time lol. Onyx comes anytime I call his name & checks in with me then goes back to play with his cat friends. He is a happy little guy and I'm doing me best to give him the life he chooses and trying to provide this as safely as possible. Winter is indoor only and even watches Onyx through the glass in the kitty door. Thankfully she does not use the kitty door or attempt to walk through into our backyard. I am looking for someone who is great with cats, understand their personality traits and little quirks individually. I want to see them meet a Pet Sitter and be comfortable, bond with them, so I know they will be ok when I have them looked after whether its for a few days here and there, or for trips I’ve planned a week or longer, even so I could travel internationally. I’ve refrained from traveling due to not being comfortable with leaving them and I’m going to find 1-2 people that I could depend on that I know Winter & Onyx like and will be great with while I’m away. The opportunity to also stay in my home with them on overnights is also something I would need someone to be open to. I will not pay $35 a day and that be one 15mins visit, and them being left alone the other 23hrs 45mins a day! My cats would not do well being alone for long oeriods of time. I want someone that could house & pet sit, with flexibility in their schedule. I moved back to New Orleans Algiers Point area, recently and look forward to hearing from you! Kindly, Tra-Lynn Hartman
