Hi there! I am an enthusiastic animal lover with the energy to keep up with large dogs that need lots of exercise, and the tenderness to care for those pets that may need a little extra TLC. I am experienced with animals of all shapes and sizes, including first aid, administering medications, nursing the sickly back to health, and being a supportive friend to a pet at the end of his days. I have an instinct for caring for animals that has been fine-tuned by working on a farm. I have performed first aid on dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, and sheep. I am absolutely in love with animals, and it is hard not having a pet of my own. So I would love to care for your pet, when you don\'t have as much time as you would like to devote to your friend! I have been a pet owner for my whole life, from small animals to livestock. I simply love animals of all shapes and sizes. (With the exception of mice and rats... sorry) I grew up with at least one family dog in the house. We have had german shepherds, collies (bearded, border, and mix), a siberian husky, a bichon-shihzu, golden retrievers, labs, and rottweilers. I have lived on farms for over two years, one of which had Akbash livestock guardian dogs (4-15 during litter season) and a part wolf, therefore I have experience with large dogs, first aid, dogfights, etc. I have been a hired dog sitter for a rottweiler, labrador retriever, miniature pincher, and pitt bulls. I am also proficient at caring for livestock, having spent so much time on farms. From time to time, I farm sit in alberta where I care for goats, cows, horses, chickens, llamas, sheep, dogs, cats, and bunnies. When I was younger, I volunteered with the Ferret Rescue and Education society, supervising events with 20 ferrets, and also playing the role of foster ferret parent.
