Hi! I have always had animals as a part of my life. I\'ve always treated them more like siblings and then my children. For a long stretch in University I didn\'t have a pet of my own, but as soon as I had the time to take care of one, I got a turtle. My partner and I just moved so that we could get a dog, as I have missed having one that much! I believe in being firm but friendly with mammals. In this way they feel safe to relax and be taken care of, instead of feeling like they have to take care of us. For my furry friends I love a good long walk, a snuggle and a romp. For cold blooded friends I like to wonder at their amazing form, skills and unique features. Taking care of animals gives me a sense of satisfaction, and helps relax me. I have had pets all of my life.
