Pet Sitter in Mississauga, Ontario

Hello, my name is Nicole. I am a recent graduate of the University of Toronto with a Specialist in Historical Study of Religions, and am currently studying to write my LSAT and apply for Law School in the coming fall. In the meantime, my time is divided between working as an account representative for a high-end seasonal company, and volunteering with United Way Peel on the Youth Leaders Council, the Etobicoke Humane Society as a dog care volunteer and a dog adoption coordinator, and also with Community Living Mississauga. My own personal experience with having dogs of my own for over 16 years, including one with special needs, and caring for others’ pets, both cats and dogs in a hired/familial/volunteer capacity for the past 10 years, makes me responsible and excellent choice to care for your furry family members! I love animals, and would love the opportunity to meet and care for yours! For the past 16 years I have always had a dog in my family. I currently have three dogs – a bichon frise, a toy poodle, and a shiz tzu poodle cross – which I have loved and cared for over the years. My youngest, the shih poo, requires special needs, and so requires extra care. It’s difficult to list all the responsibilities that entails caring for the animals that become a part of the family, but I can say I have extensive knowledge in what it takes to give a pet a wonderful quality of life! In the past and in recent years, I have also been asked by neighbours, friends and family members to care for their cats/dogs while they were away on vacation or away for unforeseen circumstances. My duties, as such, have included cleaning litter, walking, feeding, grooming, playing/training with their furry friends. Moreover, I volunteer as a dog care volunteer and more recently have obtained a position as dog adoption coordinator at the Etobicoke Humane Society. My duties respectively include walking, feeding, grooming, administering medication, and screening applicant to find the best possible forever home for our dogs.
