I'm an
Individual
$30 per exercise. I encourage you to read below! Hello :) I am not going to lie, I am doing this for 2 reasons....happy healthy dogs (and owners) and for money. I exercise my 3 dogs everyday for an hour. I take them dog various locations throughout the city, because I love my dogs and they deserve what they love...exercise, fresh air and the elements for them to be them! I alternate between a few dog parks (one on the north side and one in Millwoods), Hermitage park and Gold bar park (their and my favorite). I believe in leash free exercise. I will never take your dog along streets, high "children" traffic areas, almost never will their paws hit pavement! Just grass, gravel, sand, dirt and bush areas. My boyfriend and daughter said to me...you are not working, why not try a dog walking service? I have thought about it, so here I am. I understand dog behaviours and their anxieties. I also understand people behaviour and their anxieties. Bottom line, we love our dogs. We do not always have the time nor the motivation to walk our dogs daily, weekly, heck even monthly. I don't judge, because I was one of them. I have a 10 year old female shih-tzu, a 14 year old male shih-tzu and a 7 year old Jack Russell cross Shepard xTerrier. All 3 get along and are friendly. I will ensure a meet and greet with your dog(s) and mine. I will charge $30 a walk. I will pick your baby up, tire him/her out and bring them back. I go daily, well, almost daily. Sometimes I need a break too lol. Mostly mid-mornings but can accommodate. I have a mini van which makes it easier for transportation and space required for larger breeds. Tanker (the cross breed) is high anxiety, he is completely non-aggressive, just whines alot...and a lot...and alot..and lot, meaning I have experience with behavioural dogs. I have owned a medium risk aggressive pit bull lab cross before and understand the needs of many breeds. I have also owned abused dogs, rescued a hurricane Katrina dog second generation and a Bassett Hound that was a runner. If your dog is "unfriendly" with dogs, I will work with him/her to ensure that dominance and space are in place. The 2 Shih-tzus were both dog haters, both would not be shy to tell off another dog and try to attack. That was then, now, I have remind them to keep up with me and that social meet and greet time with other dogs is done! They have done a 360 in dog socializing. Exercising your dog has so many benefits to them and your home. They get a break away from their domain, they get physical, mental and emotional stimulation and allows them to be what they are, a dog and not a pet or family member. This is important, they need to know it is OK to run, jump, fetch, sniff, mark territory, swim and explore. And that is exactly what I do for my dogs. They get exhausted and worn out and just flop to their beds for hours when we return home. Don't be shy to contact me. Meet and greet and see what comes of it. Once a week, twice a week or more. I can work out a weekly rate if you want 5 days a week. Whatever suits you and your dogs needs and pocket (and ego...I get it!). No judgments, no hoops, no professionalism, just dogs enjoying themselves :) Lara 780-200-...
