Hi my name is Marie, I am an experienced dog walker and pet owner, our pets mean a lot to us, they are there for us in the good and bad times, so why not show them how much we appreciate them. I walk my own personal dog bandit at least 4 miles a day, if you own a dog experts say that you must give your pet loads of love and exercise. A quick stroll around the block is just not enough, or to let your dog outside in the backyard for a few hours without companionship also is just not enough for them. If you have the dog that is frustrated under exercised or anxious it will display it's anxiety in a number of ways. It may destroy toys, furniture or act aggressively, it is doing this usually because it has so much Energy and has no way of releasing it. A quick stroll around the block before you leave to go to work is just not enough to keep your pets healthy and happy, experts recommend at least 30 to 40 minutes of strenuous exercise for a smaller dog and 40 to 60 minutes for larger breeds in addition to the exercise they get from playing in the backyard or taking a stroll around the block. I know many of us don't have the time to exercise our pets enough but if you want a happy and healthy pet for your family they do need lots of exercise plus the love and support of their family.
