Hello there! My name is Akeisha, I am a 27 yr old mom of a 3.5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer and a 1.5 year old German Shepherd. I have been a volunteer at the humane society for several years helping in areas such as dog walking and special events. Through the last year I was also a foster mom with an organization based out of Toronto. After I adopted my last however I am now limited to volunteering at events due to then limited space at my home. In have gone to several dog behaviour seminars and training classes as well and am working towards my pet first aid certificate in November. I went to Guelph university for Zoology and have taken courses such as animal anatomy, animal psychology, animal behavior etc. I have always loved animals and am finally looking forward to pursuing a career that I am passionate about.
