Pet Sitter in Nashville, Tennessee

I'm an
Individual
As an animal lover, I realize how precious your little (or big) ones are! We care for our pets like they're out own kids, but sometimes you can't take them with you on special trips and vacations! That's where I come in! Surrounded by wonderful animals all of my 26 young years, I started pet sitting years ago for my family, neighbors and friends. As I am highly recommended by those families and individuals, I want to extend my personal community resource! I sit for mostly cats and dogs, but reptiles, birds and other small animals (i.e. rabbits, chinchillas) I have learned to care for as well. I have been taught how to care for farm animals, but I have yet to broaden my sitting abilities to those animals. I'm always willing to learn! - Are you looking for a sitter for the holidays? - Maybe this is a one-time trip or you have several trips over time that you'd love a reliable sitter to come to your home? - Do you enjoy peace-of-mind for your animals while you're away? - You don't care for kennels, but you don't know any sitters? - Is there one day in particular that you won't be home for a few hours and you need someone to check on your animals? I reside in Nashville, however I make trips to Franklin regularly. Folks in Franklin, Columbia, Spring Hill, Brentwood, Nolansville, Hermitage, Madison, Donelson, Mt. Juliet, Lebanon, Carthage, don't be afraid to contact me! DOGS- For overnight stays, I charge $45 per night for first-time dog clients. For 2 dogs, I add on an extra $15. These stays will include walks, feeding, playing, basic training (sit, stay, paw). CATS- I charge $25 per night. These stays include feeding and playing. For hourly visits $15 $10/hour. I do charge for gas (round-trip) $0.47 / mile (the standard pay for gas & wear) on every sit. However, the first 5 miles are free. We will calculate these miles together with the shortest amount of miles necessary. Let's meet up at a park or for coffee with your pets and we'll talk more about your upcoming trip(s)! A little about me: My name is Meghan and I currently work as an AmeriCorps member full-time at a local non-profit working with energy efficiency. I worked in hospitality, food & beverage for over 8 years. I moved to Tennessee from Massachusetts in 2011 after receiving my BS degree in Environmental Science. I almost always have a smile on my face (that's true).
