My journey with animals started in early childhood with farm animals. Sheep, chicken, and small mammals such as rats, hamsters, and chinchillas. My later child years introduced dogs, cats, fish, and rabbits, with a much-sought-for transition into exotics as a teen- including lemurs, capybaras, sugar gliders, squirrels, wolfdogs, wallabies, ferrets, horses, snakes, and many more. My admiration for training dogs grew in middle school, through high school, and after graduating I moved into working more with horses, moving into training OTTBs and rescues alongside wonderful professionals across Texas. I am skilled in recognizing symptoms of injury and illness, administering special diets/supplements and medicines, working with groups/pairs/flocks and herds, following any established routine/ground work/training, feeding prey/RAW/BARF/etc, evaluating existing and potential issues in behavior and training, evaluating diet and exercise, grooming and bathing several species, adjusting habitat/equipment according to weather, and much more that comes with having years of experience with so many animals. Animal handling and care is the foundation of my services, but my extra time on the side spent learning husbandry, behavior, instinct, training, and habitat/diet all contribute to my above-and-beyond, bespoke approach to being the caretaker of your animal(s). With a pending degree in Dietetics, and extensive and continuous study in fitness and conditioning for humans, horses, and canines, you can be reassured that you have the latest verified science behind all the extra care provided to the animals I oversee. The extra mile is what I pride myself on. Side-services I offer include socialization outings, sales/stud photography, pet portraiture, workouts, and assistance in optimizing any aspect of your regular routine or care for your animals.
