I have always had pets. My childhood was filled with at least two large dogs in the house at all times, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles and fish. Currently I have two big dogs who can nicely be described as a handful. Because of our innate ability to choose wild and spirited dogs, I am very comfortable with jumpers, barkers, biters, peers and almost any kind of quirk you can throw at me. Old dogs, young dogs, shy dogs, crazy dogs-I've met and loved them all. I've never encountered a dog who didn't love me and don't think that will change any time soon.
