Pet Sitter Job in Durham, New York

Hi! I'm looking for a cat sitter to check in on our two cats while we're away on vacation December 25 to 29. We have one (very fat) brown female tabby named Dorothy and one orange male tabby named Stanley. Stanley has recently had a urinary blockage so it's imperative he be fed at the proper times and his litter is checked for urination each day. They're both extremely friendly (especially Stanley) and are easy to take care of, but as stated before, we just need a pair of eyes to make sure they're okay. They get fed around 7AM, and then again at 7PM. Their water should be fine (it's a large drinkwell fountain), but just remove any food or hair if you see any. As for the litterboxes, there are two. Just look inside to make sure there's urination, especially in the one "belonging" to the orange male Stanley. At at least one feeding, the litter needs to be scooped to check for urination (we'll leave out scoops and bags). In the unlikely event that you notice a distinct lack of urination or the orange male Stanley acting strangely or lethargically, you are expected to call me immediately. I will contact either the vet (Southpoint Animal Hospital which is right down the street) or Veterinary Specialty Hospital, which is also close by, for his immediate intake. I will arrange with either location for payment so you don't have to come out of pocket. This is the key reason we're seeking a pro/semi-pro cat sitter, so please don't apply if you're not willing to check the litter and transport the cat to the hospital. Thank you very much!
