Experienced with dogs both professionally and personally. Receiving my degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) this coming May. I have been conducting extensive research of dogs for the past 13 months with my professor, particularly how they communicate with humans as part of an honors thesis. Dogs are truly my passion! I have worked as a dog sitter and a dog walker for nearly half my life. I worked at a pet store caring for puppies. I was also a volunteer at a no- shelter walking dogs. When I was a volunteer, I was often the only one who could get the dogs experiencing high levels of anxiety out of their kennels and into my lap! I am very patient with pups, in a way that even fellow dog lovers find to be unique. I also worked as a personal care assistant (PCA) for a girl with severe special needs for 7 years. I recently left to pursue my passion of dogs as I consider making it my career path. Compassion and patience. I hold those to an infinite degree when it comes to animals, especially dogs.
