Dear Families, I want you to know that I love working with animals. Although my background education is working with kids I feel that it has helped me with my patience and my ability to run around, play and teach any child, adult or animal. I have become much more flexible and do not try to sit to a fixed way of doing things if it doesn't work. I am capable of following any and all instruction you have regarding your pet as I understand they are important to you. My animals are important to me as well and I would treat your pets with the same kindness. Although my experience does not reach to exotic or reptile animals I am willing to go forward and follow instruction regarding caring for that pet. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application and I hope to be able to fill the position you require. I have always had pets in my home growing up. I know how to care for them and I know when something is wrong and when they need to be taken to the vet. I have recently spent some time caring for a neighbours puppies. The two of them together can be quite challenging but I find ways that work and learn what they enjoy and incorporate that into playing with them and getting them exercise. I haven't worked with reptiles/amphibians or exotic pets before but depending on the needs and requirements I would be willing to learn.
